Art is a favorite pursuit and curriculum on campus, and your daughter will love the unique opportunities to express herself and hone her artistic ambitions.
Art classes are diverse. We have a very “hands on” ceramics workshop where students throw clay and fire them in our kiln. Students may also have the opportunity to study drawing and painting in different mediums.
And, with the technology advances available now, we also have an active digital arts program.
Aside from the academic and recreational benefits of art, it also plays an important therapeutic role. Students often find creative ways to express externally what they are working on internally. Therapists will often review the art with the student as they work together to overcome obstacles to success, or to support and resource newly acquired insights.
