Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in subject area is required. One or more years of prior experience teaching experience. Must be able to teach physics. Clear communication skills, the ability to motivate and teach students, and the ability to creatively and effectively implement the company academic plans is required. Greenbrier Academy has an excellent position for a highly motivated psychotherapist who needs personal challenges and self-growth opportunities, and one who will work with a team of therapists at a non-acute residential center/therapeutic-academic boarding school for girls. FEMALE RESIDENTIAL ADVISOR
A residential advisor primarily works to ensure the safety and personal growth of students enrolled in the program, including supervising and mentoring students in academic, therapeutic and/or recreational activities.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred but not necessary. High School diploma or GED. Two or more year’s prior experience working with youth and families is preferred. Excellent communication and role-modeling skills is preferred. Age of 21 years or older is required. Possessing a current driver’s license and passing a driver’s background check is required if driving a company vehicle. Drug free employer.
Shifts available is Thursday – Saturday 11:00pm- 9:15 am and Sunday – Tuesday 11:00pm-9:15 am.
